FFVIIR Launch

TLDR: As of now, the game launches on April 10th. Australia already has it on sale. Europe will probably get it this week. North America should have their copies shipped to stores at least by the end of the week. However, North American customers probably will not receive the game on launch day if they didn’t order via the Square Enix store.

If you get your copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake before April 10, do not stream it! You will be banned if caught (and tons are getting caught). This is explicitly spelled out in their TOS.

As the development team requested yesterday, if you get #FF7R early, please think of others and don’t spoil it for them.

Final Fantasy VII launched exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020 (though it will presumably come to other platforms after a year based on box art).
