Final Fantasy XIII Is Out Now!

An online friend of mine informed me that the gameplay is basically running down a very long hallway... 20 hours of the game is just running down a hallway... And if the main character dies on the final boss, but the other two characters are still alive, you'd still lose. But I don't know until I try the game, if I get a PS3.

I won a pair of invitations from Square-Enix to attend the Final Fantasy XIII Experience and Launch Party afterwards. The only downside is that it took place today, in San Francisco, at 1PM, while I have work and classes. The other downside is that my girlfriend, who would have attended the event with me, is not allowed into the launch party because she's 19 and booze was offered so everyone could forget about FFXI and FFXII.

Rico, I just noticed this, but why is the countdown going to run out at five-thirty in the morning? Is that when you get your crazily fanatical butt out of bed to get in line to buy the game?

Not necessarily when he gets his butt out of bed to buy the game, but most definitely because he is crazily fanatical. He pre-ordered it with Amazon.

I feel ashamed. My brother called at 9:45 just when I was getting ready to play FF13. By the time I was done talking with him it was 10:15 and I decided that it was better to just watch the latest episode of House, M.D. than get sucked into FF13.
