Final Fantasy VIII Re-Release

Final Fantasy VIII has been released for the PS3/PSP in the Playstation Store. In the US at the very least, it's priced at $9.99. Now that VIII is there, three Final Fantasy games are on the store. With six months between the last two releases, we may see Final Fantasy IX in mid-2010.

I suppose it's great news for the people who didn't get a chance to play FFVIII the first time it was released, but I would prefer a completely new game over a port of the original.
