We're on the eigth life people. Make it worth it. Call in the troops. Battle formations everyone. We need good guys, bad guys, guys who could go either way, girls to fill these roles as well. Magic, sorcery, swords, shields, armour, death, life, love.
And that's just in the profiles.
Seriously, we need to ol' gang back and a good story to work with. And no concerns over god-modding, no *****ing, no confusion (READ THE PREVIOUS POSTS BEFORE YOU POST), no controlling other people's characters reactions or words, just good wholesome RPGing like in the (lost) ROT and ROT2, and the still viewable Shadow of the Past.
Like this will happen, but we've got another life to go people!

Couldn't help but feel stabbed at a couple of those no things, from my GMing the last failed game.
I'm in, though, don't get me wrong. Who's going to be the brave soul to storyline this revival reunion...?

Yeah, I figured as much. Already came up with a sketchy idea. We just need to confirm enough people.
Which leads me to the question of: how many do we need minimum to make it worth the time?

Of course I'll join! TF if you think you can leave me out of the ol' gang of true TBRPGers! Gaiaonline isn't worth rping in... there's way too many people and lots of children that I'd want to ring necks with that like to prove to be RP Gods but they're not and they just suck ballz. =P
My problem is I wouldn't know who I'd recreate or if I just wanted to start a new character. I can play both male and female roles no problem. I honestly need to get my TBRPG groove back.
I can create ideas but I cannot lead the game/story on. I get bored way too easily >_< I'm just the type to follow the pack instead of leading it.
Hey, while we're at this, I'll throw in an idea I just had a revelation on!
Well, it's probably already used elsewhere but it would still be fun if you think about it..
Something based around the ability through portals or by other means of space travel, be able to travel the current galaxy that the game is based around. It'd be awesome to see! Space sorcerers of doom-age! ooooooo. LOL
That's just an idea anyway. It'd make our characters look like Gods in a sense of way but really not..
If need be I can play up to 2 characters again. But this time I'd use my mains, if I did play two, just so I wouldn't be mostly focused on one while the other is dwindling around.
I'm actually writing a sci-fantasy based story right now based on the doom-age of Earth ^_^
Editish: Why not throw in a spare thread to where we all can chat, kinda like this one, and so we all know what's going on who's ideas they want to do next for the game? Or is that what the Game discussion thread is for? Lol
I make no sense to myself sometimes.

Well, my idea was very traditional for the most part. It'd continue to follow the past lines of the RoT, SotP stuff but I'd have so much change. Prolly make it a whole new era pretty much. No clue on the purpose of the story, villan wise yet, just the setting.

THis is the discussion forum for new games. I had sort of an idea, not plotwise but game wise. If enough people join and we have a good mix of good and bad characters we can get around the so called g0d-modding and controlling others characters by having it work so that when a character decides to launch an attack, the post ends, and the GM can roll two dice (such as in the game of Risk) to decide whether it is successful or blocked, and to what extent.

Yeah, that's why got me so irratated before with past games. Everyone was always trying to have their characters on top all the time, like defeat was no acceptable...yet it would have been entirely realistic.
Well, lemme see here...Me, K-9, Spice, Vauly, Tedronai...maybe KoD and Knodr. That's 5 so far, with the possiblity of 7. Enough to play with? I think so. Anyone second the notion? If yes, I'll maybe write my ass off tomorrow to open up a discussion for a new game(the one of the forementioned idea I had).
