I just got back home from watching it...after all, I'm living on Guam, so I got to see it first :p

Very interesting and very well done. The best I've seen since Empire Strikes Back. Although there are some cheezy moments, at least its still kept within context of the entire series.

Oh, be on the look out for the Millenium Falcon in the capital city after the 'first mission' of the movie. Its in the bottom-center of the shot and very hard to spot...that is, if you are quick to catch it.

Again, a very well done Star Wars movie...and it also opens up the series for new possibilities.

I'm a fan, but Im not going to jump out of my seat to watch it right now or anything like that. I'd like to watch the epsiodes that came before it again, expecially the second one, before I watch the third. I also want to watch the older trilogy again, but I don't know where I should do that before or after.

I'm not a hardcore fan, but I'm a little more than a casual fan.

So if I didn't have tickets already, I wouldn't mind waiting a few weeks for theatres to clear up.

LOoks to be good, though.

I thought I was at least a better fan that I thought I was. (that doesn't make sense, does it?)

I posted in a thread about the most powerful Sith or Jedi, and I got totally pwned because I know nothing outside the movies.

I'm going to pwn this guy in his groin. Seriously, I'm gonna do like a mindflaying Shakespearean roundhouse DDT.

This movie owns your face.

Eh, I'll see it sometime.... .Thing is, I'd rather wait until there's not so many damn people. I thought about going and hanging out with some of the hardcore fans and making fun of em, but I had to wake up early the next morning and uh, I was already hanging out at the Warehouse or something. Memories are hazy.

I'd rather just buy it. I'm going to buy it anyways, I figure that I can spend my free movie passes on a movie that I won't be buying.

I just found this:

I like every Star Wars movie that I've seen, but the older ones are undeniably better. I don't think I've had anyone tell me that this new series is better than the first one.

yea theres a few things that killed it for me

1 first and formost is jar jar binks.. i don't think i need to explain myself on this one...

2 theay explaned what the force was... in the orignal you didn't know why it was there or how it was there but it was just there.. middiclorients? wtf...

3. the plot is alot looser in the new ones.. plus in the orignal obe wans master was yoda not jin

4. theay were forced to change the orignals so theay fit in with the new ones.. granted it wasn't much of a change. but i say if it aint broke dont fix it

Yeah, those are what spoils it for me too. And who are Luke's parents anyways? All these melodramatic "I love you...but I don't" scenes between Anakin and Amidala are just ridiculous.

I enjoyed the movie, despite its cheesy moments. Jar Jar doesn't have a single line in the whole film, which automatically makes Episode III a better movie than the first two. I thought the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" scene was a bit too clichéd to do the subject matter justice, though.

actually Jar-Jar says "excuse me" :D Lucas just had to have him say something it seems

He did?! MOTHER@@@@ER!

That's it; I take it all back. Episode III officially blows like diarrhea from a donkey's ass.
