Best anime ever, I swear.

The original I thought was a bit overhyped, but the sequal actually had a story, and the art is very stylized and cool.

Scenes of obsessive gore, violence, and blood shake the very boundaries I have between sanity and insanity. I'd much rather watch something cute and nice, like Spirited Away. I like cute and nice things much more than I like not-cute and not-nice things. I don't really know why I am this way with anime; I certainly don't mind or don't care about gory movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I guess I'm picky. It's like I don't like regular clowns, but I like ICP, Twiztid, Dark Lotus, and the like.

But don't make fun of me or I'll saw your head off with a letter opener. ;)

Yeah, Spirited Away was very cute, but uh...strange. I can't help but wonder if a few of the writers took a large hit of crack before designing a majority of the characters. :p

I dunno...I guess I'm so used to anime containing gratuitous panty shots and no story, that the first one I saw not to suffer from that is permanently my favorite.
