A tale long forgotten.. a dark past hidden in the depths of history.. a new age of peace among the worlds, but a dawning age of fear is now rising. Friendship growing scarce and shutting out people, forbidding them from ever crossing into each others worlds. A chaos slowly coming back, trying to find its way through the emptiness of darkness and to return the age of evil.

Lylana was knelt down before the grave of one of the heroes that saved both Earth and her world from being overrun in darkness and prevented the rule of the evil king Kinaru.
She reached forward and touched the cold stone of Odwin's grave.
"It's a shame that you weren't born on this world. You could have learned so much of your grandfather's people, Odwin. If you like, I could find a way to bring your body back to life and... I could show you our world, cousin."

Lylana smiled kindly and slowly stood up. "I wonder where your soul has wondered off to."
She raised her head up and looked up at the bright blue glowing star in the dark violet sky.
"But first, I need to find my friend. He seems to have gotten himself into trouble.. again." She lowered her voice to an annoyed growl.

The light breeze softly swayed the trees casting dancing shadows on the sleeping earth. Darion lay asleep, under the dark night’s sky. A dream overcame him and he turned pale. Sweat began to drip on his body, and the cold grazed his skin with fear.

Awake young Darion… Free the hatred in your dark heart…

The dark mysterious voice echoed like a whisper in the depth of Darion’s mind. He began to turn wildly, and his head shook with fury. Sweat continued to run down his pale cheek, as did the tears that now flowed from his shut eyes. Behind his eyelids, Darion stared into boundless shadows. He shouted in his sleep, “No! I will never…” but his voice trailed off at the return of the sinister whisper in his ear.

You cannot escape that fate… You come closer each day…closer to the darkness…

Darion saw a shadow before his eyes as he slept, coming nearer, almost engulfing him. Sleep departed at this terrifying image and Darion sat up with a start, his eyes wide open, still seeing shades of the dark figure of his dream approaching. He gasped for air and felt his heart racing. The dark image faded and the clouded nightsky was now visible. Darion swallowed hard, and stood under the moonlight. He would depart before sunrise.

He cleared his mind, and gathered his things into a small pack which he placed on his black stallion. He then mounted it himself and rode forward to the distant city of elves, Navarada. He could almost taste the rich air and nature, and could sense undying life in the distance.

His black stallion galloped forward toward the legendary city, hidden by the shadows of the night. Darion’s fate was still unclear, and the dark words of his nightmare still echoed in his heart, weighing it down with fear.

Zyne was searching the house of a very rich business man, a human by the name of Willis. This man was evil in his business ways and Zyne knew he had some stolen items that he'd take the liberty of stealing back. Willis was out for the night and all of the hired hands were partying in the work house. This job would be very easy indeed.

Zyne was scaling the wall when he saw some guard wolves on the grounds, he knew his scent would be picked up so he quickly gaze them colds with a ice spell, their noses would now be useless. He got into the master bedroom and was searching for the treasure room. On the desk was a small golden object, it looked like it was broken, maybe a piece of something? As Zyne got closer the item started resinating with a blackish light. Can it be? Have I found my relic? The one forged so long ago by the archons themselves?

Long ago Zyne was accepted into the world of archons as a guest, the gave him a relic that allowed him to be a great being. But this item was stolen and shattered by forces unknown.

I guess I will have to find the rest, dammit! Zyne ran out of the mansion and into town, not stopping for anyone, as he turned a corner he ran right into a man on a brilliant black stallion. "Many pardons, sir." Now he was back at his room at the inn, thinking about where the pieces might be. He thought himself to sleep.

He had a dream about the pieces, scattered over the world, being sold over the black market. Evil men using them to extract the powers. Attempting to melt the metals to forge evil weapons, but this was not a option. The item was pure and could not be altered in anyway, other than by an archon . . .

Kyan sat under a tree and held up an emerald colored flute to his lips to blow a soft tune. The tune was carried by a gentle breeze that hovered over the sleeping town.
He lowered the flute as he finished the melody and looked up into the night sky.

The moon was full and its silver light glistened over the distant hill sides.

Kyan got to his feet and stepped out from under the tree's shade and as soon as he came into moon light, his long dark blue hair turned to silver and seemed like a glowing river of hair that swayed in the soft wind.

He gently smiled as he looked down at the village below and spoke softly, "It's good to be home."

"I'm sure it is after exploring the universe again." A deep voice came from behind Kyan.
Kyan turned to face the tall elf shrouded in a dark cloak and hood, "Dark Wolf." He smiled.
Kyan approached the elf and they both gave each other an old-friend-hug.

Dark Wolf stepped back and asked, "How was your trip?"
Kyan narrowed his eyes and sighed, "You don't want to know. It's a long story."
Dark Wolf folded his arms, "I'm always in the mood for long stories."
Kyan laughed and placed his hand on the elf's shoulder, "I'll buy you something to drink while I gnaw your ear off."

Light paded boots thuded against the white marble of the palace floor. Softly and patiantly a man walked down the corridor toward the King's Garden. The man was completly covered in soft black velvet that hung losely on his shoulders. As the man walked in the sleeping palace he still hung to the shadows. Not risking to be cought by one of the three moons.

As the man turned the cornor a guard slowly falling asleep saw the man at the cornor of his eyes. "W-what?" he gasped as heblinked his eyes. "T-t-theif!" he shouted as he pulled his sword out of its scabbard and ran toward the man.

The man in black stoped and slowly turned around to face his attacker. His hood hung over his eyes. "Foolish boy . . ." the man hissed as he out stretched his arm. The running guard suddenly stoped in mid strif and looked at the man who obviously is a magic-user. The man drew back his hood to reveil a pale face that showed death on his face and everlasting sorrow in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Master Anubis! Please! Let me live! Please--!"

"Shut up!" anubis hissed as he slammed the young guard against the marble walls. Anubis let go of his magic grip and watched in satisfaction as the boy slid down the wall and blood flowed freely down his lips. "You have earned your sleep." he said in a mocking tone and turned back onto his course.

----------

Anubis stood in the center of the garden amd stared up into the night sky. "The Archons have punished me . . . and for what!? For trying to cure their blindness! Fools! All of them. Expecualy that little human *****, Mesira!" he sighed and deeply inhaled the damp air.

" . . . Misera . . . why? I'm the one that greaved with you for your loss of your Knight Odwin. I helped raise your daughter, Crysainia. But you chose him!"he raised his fist at the moon that turned his black velvet into violet shades.

"Many pardons, sir." Darion stared at the man with hard eyes. He responded with silence, examining the dark depths of the man's eyes. When he had had enough, he continued to ride forward like a swift shadow to the gates of Navarada.

Darion stopped before the great, elegant gate with leaves and vines flowing from it. Two cloaked guards stepped forward, taking aim with their bows at the dark figure. Darion grinned in silence. Another guard stepped forward cautiously and examined him. He spoke with a graceful tone, full of authority, "Humans are forbidden." Darion glared at the elf coldly but soon a smile broke upon his face and confidence swelled in his heart. He reached into his pocket and then held out a scroll. The guard looked at it with frustration and then reached for it. He read the words with caution and anger and contempt became evident on his face. He then looked back up at Darion and shook his head, "What business have you with Dark Wolf?"

Darion's grin grew stronger and he almost chuckled, "It is not your concern. The signature of my master and the note he wrote is your only concern." The elf turned sharply, appalled by the human's audacity. He held out his hand and the gates mystically began to open, and Darion went in, still on his brilliant horse.

He rode to the city's center and his gaze caught a brilliant monument. He approached it and soon recognized statues of the Five Dawn Defenders, the silver figures glowing under the pale blue moonlight. Irumar, the rebel. Odwin, the dark soul. Misera, the beautiful inspiration. Astrael, the virtuous knight. And Illion, the fallen hero. Darion's attention remained on this last statue, and he looked Illion's figure up and down with wonder. His body was beat and his face was weathered and yet he carried a soft smile on his face. Of all the legends, it was his story that was closest to inspiring Darion's closed heart, the one that helped him sleep through the nightmares.

The night sky slowly turned gray, as the sun started its ascent toward the horizon. Darion realized he had a purpose in the Elven city, and so he turned from the monument and went on to explore.

Kyan and Dark Wolf emerged from the tavern and wandered the elven streets of Navarada.
Dark Wolf raised his gaze up to the rising sun and turned to smile at Kyan, "Dusk approaches, but there are still many stories that you must tell me, good friend Tolebar."
Kyan smiled in return, "I will, but later. I sense an agonized man within the city."
Dark Wolf raised his head up, "Yes, I can sense him as well."

"His spirit feels oddly familiar.. but such a dark soul doesn't resemble my old friend's." Kyan replied.
Dark Wolf started to walk off in the direction where he sensed the dark soul.
Kyan walked to the town square to where the statues stood. He looked up into the faces of the marble stone and smiled, "It has been a long time, old friend."

Dark Wolf walked with the shadows as he approached the dark figure that sat on a black stallion from behind.
"I sense that you seek me, human." Dark Wolf spoke in an almost echoing soft voice.

Darion turned with a start and faced the man. He adressed the man who spoke first, "I presume you are the elf they call Dark Wolf?" Dark Wolf nodded. Darion examined the cloaked figure suspiciously but ultimately gave in. "I was sent here by Jardur of Doma, to wander the forbidden lands. He told me you are interested by the troubles of youth and would give me your home while I stayed in this city." Their eyes met and Darion fell silent as Dark Wolf examined the dark young man.

Dark Wolf smiled finally and spoke softly, "Very well. Jardur was a good man, or so I'm told. He fought for Doma alongside the Dawn Defenders twenty years ago." He sighed and turned around, motioning for Darion to follow him.

Darion dismounted his stallion and pet the soft black horse with gentle care. He then took grab of the reins and led it forward slowly through the mystical city. Dark Wolf paused a moment and looked back at Darion, "I should let you know, my friend Kyan is staying with me as well."

Darion grinned as the name Kyan echoed in his ears. He had heard it before in the slums of Kelic. He recalled a groub of bounty hunters was on his trail again. Assassinations were becoming common once again. Darion shrugged at the thought and slowly made his way forward.

Dark Wolf led Darion through the city.
Darion looked around and wondered where Dark Wolf lived and when they would get there.

They reached the far edge of the city and Dark Wolf showed Darion a passage out into the wilderness.
Darion looked back at the city and asked aloud, "You don't live in the city?"
Dark Wolf answered in his soft voice, "I prefer living in a quiet place away from other people. The forest is a much better place to be."

Both Darion and Dark Wolf continued to walk and made their way through the forest.
Dark Wolf suddenly stopped and stepped to the side to reach his hand up in mid air, to clench his hand around something.
He lowered his hand and showed Darion a throwing dagger.
"Seems we've been followed by bandits.. the fools." Dark Wolf muttered in annoyance.

Snickering was heard all around and bushes began to rustle. Black figures slowly rose from some of the bushes and others jumped out from trees.
They raised their short swords and chuckled manically.
"Give us your gold and whatever valuables you have!"

Dark Wolf folded his arms and smirked. He spoke back to Darion, "You seem capable of fighting. Do you want to take care of them? This could be easy practice for you."

Zyne was sitting up at the inn looking out the window, sleep would not come anymore tonight. Looking out the window he saw that man on the horse again taling to Dark Wolf. But these two men did not concern him, it was the other one with them. He had a strange aura about him. That man, he is not human yet he looks the part. He must be an archon I am sure of it, but what would he be doing in this town?

Leaveing the inn Zyne decided to follow him, maybe he could get some information about his item that has been shattered, and if not he could at the least point Zyne to someone that can.

Darion's expression did not change, it stayed cool and confident. He gently grazed the handle of his katana and waited for the first attacker. Darion's cape flowed in the evening breeze.

A man lunged forward and Darion drew his blade, striking him immediately. Another dagger came flying at him but Darion struck it away with ease. A bandit stood laughing, observing Darion's Doman attire. "He's no Knight of Doma though he pretends, probably just a wretched beggar by the looks of him!"

Anger swelled in Darion's heart, hatred burned in his dark eyes. He lunged forward and struck down each bandit in a violent fury, without mercy. He was left standing, blood dripping from his blade. He sheathed his sword and wiped some blood off his hands. His expression cooled and the hatred seeped back down to the depths of his dark heart.

Dark Wolf stood in terror at the man's rage and hatred. He sighed heavily and folded his arms, satisfied with Darion's skills but concerned by his heart.

Darion walked back toward him, silent, as though nothing had just occurred. He waited for Dark Wolf to speak, but the silence was not broken. Darion took his hand and gently felt his warm forehead, remembering the words of the dark figure in his nightmares, ...Free the anger in your dark heart...Darion grew pale as fear hovered like a foreboding cloud over his mind. He wanted to be free of fearing his own soul, but could never be.

My Garden is off limits. Even to you, Anubis!

Darkness surrounded Anubis. He tried his best to part the darkness but failed.

Wake up. As your King I command you to wake up!

He couldn't wake up. Time and time again Anubis tired to wake up from his nightmar. His walking nightmar. Why should he wake up from this blissful sleep to face the King's weak wrath? The darkness slowly parted and reveiled a blurry old man in a white sleeping gown.

"Yes, my Lord?" he asked in aocking tone.

"Anubis, my Friend, I don't know why you keep comeing here but--" he saw the look on Anubis's face--"I don't want to know. You don't have to sneak i here every night, you now?" he said with a soft smile as he slowly sat on the bench next to him.

"Do you want to talk about it, my son?" The nick name always brought a smile to Anubis's lips. A real smile not the false onse that he wears at dinners.

"Ironic . . ." he wispered, " the King giving his own advisor advice. I was forced out of my home land, sire. Everyone feared me and called my works 'evil'. Is evil doing what you think is right? I fell inlove with this young woman that came to my homeland. I took her and her child under my wings. My cousin thought I was trying to take over his rule of our tribe and sent me to exile. I never told this woan and the child how much I'll miss them . . ." a small tear rolled down Anubis's cheek and he quickly wiped it away.

"It's late my lord and I'd hate myself if you where to catch a cold." he helped the king up to his feet and they slowly walked out of the garden.

"You watch out over me to much. Like I'm your younger brother!" he said with a small laugh.

"Wisdome is a fine gift that ages the spirit, not the mind, sire. You have a lively sprirt, lord.

And an deing mind, Anubis thought to himself.

Dark Wolf raised an eyebrow as he watched Darion's face grew pale. As he had watched Darion's fight and murder of the bandits, Dark Wolf could sense that there seemed to be a much darker presence within the young man.

Dark Wolf narrowed his silver eyes from within the darkness of his hood and folded his arms, "Mind telling me what's going on? If I am allow you to stay in my home, you must tell me what that scene was all about."

Darion made a puzzled look.
Dark Wolf pointed at the dead bodies of the bandits and the blood on Darion's hands. "I'm sure you could have ripped those bandits apart with your bare hands if you wanted to. There was a very dark and evil aura around you when you were killing them. Explain it to me here and now."
Dark Wolf folded his arms again, waiting for Darion.

Kyan wandered through the elven streets and eventually went to the tavern.
Many elven people were in the tavern, sitting down and enjoying their breakfast.
He went to the far corner and sat down. Kyan looked around and used his mind speech ability to contact the person, that he obviously knew who was following him, If you wish to speak, I'll be in the tavern.

"If you wish to speak, I'll be in the tavern."

Zyne was frightened at first from this, but soon realized it was the archon. He slowly walked into the tavern scanning the room for the archon and finally spotted him sitting in the corner watching the elves go about their business. First going up to the bar and grabbing a bite to eat. Zyne walked to the corner table and sat down across from the archon.

"Hello, so I was right in assuming you were an archon. Sorry if I might have alarmed you with my stalking. My name is Zyne, and yours?"

"Kyan." Was the reply.

"Well Kyan, I don't know if you recognize me or not but I was once a honored guest in the archon world, althought that was several thousand years ago. Now I am just a lowly elf living out his eternity. But as of late some disturbing events have been happening to me. First, my relic which was given to me my the archon king has been stolen and shattered. I know that those items can only be destroyed by another archon and was hoping you could help me find this rebel. Second I have been having dreams about the pieces being used for evil, I know not what they mean. ANy help you can give would be greatly appreciated." Zyne sat back and waited for a reply while sipping on his drink.

Kyan smiled and sat back in his chair. "I'll be glad to help you, but I must examine a piece of the relic, if you have one, to see if I can possibly be able to locate where the other pieces are."

Zyne hesitantly pulled out the piece of the relic and for a long moment, stared at it, hesitating to hand it over.
He finally gave it to the Archon, realizing that the Archon known as Kyan wouldn't take it for his own.

Kyan rolled the shattered piece in his left hand. "What a strange relic.. possibly made during my great grandfather's time..." Kyan looked up at Zyne.
"I don't think my great grandfather was the one that would give such a marvelous relic to just anyone... I can sense a hint of the maker's presence within this piece... Must have been Ari who made this relic and gave it to you."

Kyan looked deep into Zyne's eyes, "Is that who made this for you?"
Zyne remained silent for a moment and finally nodded.
Kyan smiled again, but showed a hint of sadness, "Such a powerful relic... I hope its properties have not worn off due to being shattered."

Kyan returned his gaze back to the shattered relic and gave it back to Zyne. "If you are to find the remaining pieces, I will have to accompany you.. I fear as well that the pieces would be used for evil.. Such a powerful relic could bring problems."

The King and Queen sleeped soundlyin their beds. Once in a great while a loud snore woke the king from his sleep. He looked at his sleeping wife and gently lied back down and fell back to sleep. Deeped in the dark shadows away from the purple moon light stood Anubis. Do this now!

Anubis closed his eyes tightly and hesitated. Then he slowly opened his robes and pulled out a small brown sack and walked over to the large bed. You've been waiting for this moment all along Do this now! But this is different. This is a not the man that he hated. This is not the world I want to rule.

He opened the sack and walked over to where the king's head lay. He slowly stuck his hand into the bag--

"Anubis! What are you doing!?" the king asked horrified.

Anubis stood still. Stood in a paniced shock. He quickly got control of himself and coldly replied, "You medicine is ready, my lord." he said as he pured the contents on the king's night stand. What ell out of the pouch was a white powder with the smell of candy. "I thought this was important."

The king mumbled and slowly sat up and took hold of his large glas of water and scooped up a little of the power and placed it into the glass and stired it. "You're to kind, Anubis." he said after he drank the concoction and went back to sleep.

Zyne help the piece concentrating hard on what could come next. As he was thinking Zyne felt the sudden feeling of forgetfulness, like something was being erased from his mind.

"Kyan I shall take my leave now, I am currently staying at the inn. Feel free to stop by." Zyne slowly walked out the door, barely able to stay standing.

Darion sighed heavily, his eyes gazing at the empty darkness, considering its similarity with his own heart. He finally looked back up at Dark Wolf, his expression solemn and agonized. His eyes began to tear and he gently pointed out a scar next to his left eye. He spoke softly, "This is an example from my past. It built hatred and anger in my heart. Jardur trained me to keep it concealed, never let the darkness of my heart show. But it is always there..." His voice began to trail off. A tear rolled down his cheek. He held his head back up now and gazed at Dark Wolf. He made a motion to speak once more but held himself back. He could not tell of the nightmares. He was afraid to tell of the dark whispers in his sleep. He was afraid to acknowledge his own lack of control.

He gathered himself and tried to smile. Dark Wolf's eyes were still fixed on him, his mind pondering his words. Darion spoke once more, "Jardur helped me master my skills, none better in this world for a Knight of Doma. But not even he could clear the shadows from my soul. Perhaps, he hoped you would have that power."

Dark Wolf looked at the young knight with difficulty, trying to foresee the fate of the young man. "What is it you want of me? To truly complete your training? I have done such things in the past, but strangely, I too fear you. I fear what your completed skills may bring to this world-"

"I do not fear my-"

"Lies are wasted on elves," he smiled warmly. His expression then returned to the seriousness it had before. "I sense how you fear the darkness of your own heart. And so, I shall train you to find the goodness in your soul, and mark the path of your future for you."

Darion nodded, "I will then accompany you to wherever fate carries us." Dark Wolf nodded and smiled again. He silently turned and began to walk.

Kyan watched helplessly as Zyne walked out of the tavern.

He went out of the tavern shortly after Zyne left and headed toward the edge of town.
"I better speak to Dark Wolf about the relic.. he might know something more about it."

Kyan hastened his pace and went out into the forest.

Dark Wolf and Darion continued to walk through the forest and soon came upon a cabin.
"I don't usually like to spend my time in the cabin. It's mostly for guests and anyone that wants to live here.. I mostly like to hang out in the trees." Dark Wolf muttered.

Dark Wolf heard soft footsteps coming in their diretion and spun around to see a tall figure emerge from the shade of the trees.

Dark Wolf made a small smile at Kyan's approach.
Kyan came up beside Dark Wolf and whispered toward his ear, "Dark Wolf, I need to ask you something about an ancient relic of the Archons that was given to an elf."

Dark Wolf nodded, "I'll tell you all that I know about it later. I'm sure our guest is famished and would like to rest. Would you take his horse?"
Kyan nodded and walked toward Darion's stallion. He smiled at Darion and the young man gave over the reins.
Kyan led away the black stallion.

Dark Wolf turned back to Darion, "If you haven't already guessed, that is Kyan."

Darion watched in wonder as Kyan walked out the door. Darion found himself thinking that the sparkle in Kyan’s eyes was vaguely familiar. But this sense soon faded and Darion was left alone with Dark Wolf. Dark Wolf sat back and grew pensive, meditating on Kyan's statement. Darion sat anxiously, awaiting Kyan's return.

Kyan returned shortly and sat down. All three men were silent, each pondering the existence of this relic. Darion was not confident enough to voice his opinion and so studdered when he made his mind to speak, "Do you know where the pieces of the relic might be?" He was answered with a disinterested silence, and so he continued on the same thought, "I spent many years of my life in the kingdom of Doma. The light of the White Dawn brought great vision to many there. Prophets and seers came into being in that land. And, there may be one among them who may hold the answer to your question."

Dark Wolf sat back and glared at Darion harshly, "Are you sure you can handle a return to your past?"

Darion sighed, "It is the source of my troubles, the reason for my hatred. But, if I am to get past the darkness of my heart, as I vowed, I shall have to face my past." Dark Wolf smiled, admiring the young man's determination. Then, Darion and Dark Wolf turned to Kyan, awaiting his response.

Kyan smiled at Darion, staring at the young man as if they were old friends. He nodded, "We'll go to Doma. I sense that we will find a way to get rid of your dark troubles, Darion."

Kyan turned his attention to Dark Wolf and spoke into his mind, I sense Illion's soul... Should I tell this man about it all?
Dark Wolf shook his head, When we get to Doma, I'm sure that upon finding Illion's grave, I think Darion's troubles will cease. We could explain it from there.

---------------
Kyan went to the inn and immediately found the room where Zyne was at.
"Want to come to Doma? We should begin our search there for the relic's shattered fragments."

---------------

Dark Wolf, Darion, Zyne, and Kyan rode on horse back, making their way toward Doma.

"Kyan, why don't you tell about the days of the White Dawn warriors? I'm sure you've seen them." Dark Wolf suggested to Kyan.
Kyan looked at Darion and Zyne and asked, "Are you interested in hearing the tales?"
Darion and Zyne nodded.
Kyan smiled, "Where to begin... I think it was out of coinsidence that they became heroes. They were mostly adventurers and obeying the orders of the evil king Kinaru until they found out his evil plots. King Kinaru of the Kelic empire.. he wanted to uphold his father's wishes of world peace, but Kinaru had a different idea of obtaining it. He wanted to conquer kingdoms and achieved it by wars. Doma, its history of being on the defensive side and unbeatable by offensivers, was brought to ruins by the power of the jewel of protection in Kinaru's hands... He hasn't sleeped since a couple days. And his face shows it. He slowly rolled himself out of his small bed and striped himself naked from his robes and neatly folded them and placed them on his desk.

He walked over to the bath tub and touch the water with a long slender finger. "Cold . . ." he murmered to himself and in an instent the bath was boiling hot. "Much better." he said as he climbed into the bath and slowly closed his eyes.

There was a loud raping at Anubis's door. Go away! The door slowly opened and a woman cautiously walked into the room and closed the door.

Zyne listened to the story, he'd never really heard much details about the the dawn warriors on account of him being on a different continent at the time. These 5 individuals must have been gifted.

I've seen the statues of these people quite often. It might be to my benefit to study them a bit more theroughly.

"Kyan, I don't mean to interrupt but do you think the kingdom of Doma has any highly organized criminal groups? If there is I'd like to join one to get information on the relic pieces, and to possibly sharpen my thief skills more."

Kyan looked at Zyne and replied, "Doma is practically one of the largest cities on this continent. Often visited because one of the heroes was from there and there are some momuments from the Archon people. I'm sure there will be several different thousand or so groups that you can join. You could even join almost all of them if you wanted to." He smiled cheerfully.

Kyan looked out before them to see over a ledge and saw a gigantic city far below.
He narrowed his eyes and muttered softly, "I can sense a very powerful aura of an evil person within Doma..."

Darion listed painfully, and suddenly his anger boiled over and he shouted, "Doma is disgusting! A truly wretched place, immoral in every way." Kyan, Zyne and Dark Wolf all turned to him in surprise, sensing the bitterness in his voice. Darion's heavy breathing then settled down. He kept his eyes fixed on the distance, afraid to see the expression on the faces of his companions. He heard Dark Wolf give a troubled sigh. Darion then felt compelled to continue, "I'm sorry, but I have my reasons. Think of my life. A child born into a position of nobility as the grandson of the king. And then it's shattered! My true father had an affair with my mother, the queen of Doma. She was only a naive princess then. And in my step-father's anger he put my true father into exile, and kept me alive for years only as an object of his angers and his troubles under the harsh blows of his whip. Doma has its history, but it is corrupt and virtue has fled from the hearts of all there..." He trailed off with a sad tone, and Kyan looked at him, sensing the deep troubles in his heart.

The four men continue riding forward through the fields and valleys, the hot sun emitting golden rays upon them. Darion looked at the landscapes about him. Behind him was the blue forests of Navarada. On his right was the great mountain range of Remni. Directly before him lied the great shadow of the dark city, Doma. Then Darion turned to his left, he saw empty fields nearby and then beyond it he saw a great forest. The old forest had remained hidden from the light of the White Dawn.

In that moment, he noticed something mysterious out of the corner of his eye. They were shades of figures, glowing brilliantly under the sunlight, almost like crystals. Darion was perplexed and troubled, yet he tried to ignore the sight for the moment. He turned back to the group and then heard Kyan sigh heavily and speak in a disturbed tone, "I saw it too." Darion stared at him, knowing full well that by some miracle, Kyan had known what Darion wanted to say. He looked at him, hoping that he would continue. "They are crystal warriors. Soldiers born from the Jewel of Creation, Kinaru's final army. I did not know that that they had returned to this world." Darion returned his sight to the distant city and fear struck his heart for all the possibilities of the future. These ill-forebodings troubled him, and to make it worse, he now journeyed to face his past, the source of all his hatred.

Kyan pulled on his blood mare's riens to turn the horse away from the group.
He called back to Dark Wolf, Darion, and Zyne, "I'm going to see why the crystal warriors have broken through to this world. Dark Wolf, help Zyne find the remaining pieces of the shattered relic and share with the knowledge that you may have about the Archon's relic... And no mentioning of the Archon race. They are greatly despised in Doma after the end of the peace treaty between the two kingdoms... Fare thee well and be careful in this city."

"Broke through to this world?" Zyne looked at Dark Wolf for the answer.
Dark Wolf ignored his question and spoke quietly, "I can feel an evil presence here too." He turned to Darion and asked, "Would you like to see where your father's grave was placed?"

Darion's eyes lit up with surprise. "My father was buried here?"
Dark Wolf nodded, "He wanted it to be that way. He felt regret for the things that he has done and so hoped that he would be able to forgive himself and find eternal peace from his shadowed life. He also had hoped that he would be forgiven by his people."

Dark Wolf raised his head up to look up at the tall towers of the castle, "We may as well go see your grandfather about your past and try to clear things up. I want to know his reasons for punishing his own daughter's son.. he'll probably try and sick the guards on us.." He turned to smirk at Darion, "Now that, I would like to see him try."

"The optimism of the elves is almost laughable at times," Darion smirked at Dark Wolf, "You see, human men need no reason to do evil in this world. It is our nature. Even the great men of this world cannot do good for the world without having shadows of evil still in their hearts, such was the way of the legend Illion Terrato."

Dark Wolf looked up and smiled at Darion's ignorance, "Let it be your interpretation now, as I'm sure returning to your past shall make clear many things to your young eyes."

Darion tried to ignore this comment, and returned his attention to the dark city in the distance. "My stepfather may have had a reason to hate me nonetheless: shame. I was the son of his wife but with another man; I was the result of the thing that had hurt him most and so he took his troubles out on me."

"We shall soon know for sure."

Darion was slow to answer. When he did, the words flowed out slowly, and full of sorrow and dread, "No, Dark Wolf. I must not see him. I am afraid what I might do..."

Dark wolf revealed his long fingernails from under his long sleeve of his cloak and showed them to Darion, "Then I will prevent you from doing it... As a theif, Darion, I know many tricks, and putting people to sleep just happens to be one of them."

Darion and Zyne looked at Dark Wolf's fingernails and looked deeper into the darkness of his sleeve to see the skin of his fingertips. They were both struck dumb, but said nothing as they noticed that Dark Wolf's skin color was blue.
Dark Wolf let his arm fall back to his side.

Dark Wolf, Darion, and Zyne made it into the city to see that it was filled with many human, dwarven, halfling, and elven people of all classes.

Dark Wolf looked around suspiciously and muttered, "I sense a different Archon."

--------------------------

Kyan hopped off the mare's back and walked on foot toward the crystal warriors, but kept a good distance away from them so he wouldn't be spotted.
"How can this be possible? Is he still alive? How can he still create these on Earth? Has he found a way through the sealed black hole?.. This is not good." Kyan frowned in dismay and hurried back to his blood mare to ride into the city.

Zyne looked around the city curiously. "Hm. All my years on this planet and I have never been to this place, it looks like a truly glorious place, but from what I hear it is filled with corruption. It's foolish how you humans must kill each other for power." A dwarf was walking by flipping a gold coin into the air and catching it, on his pass Zyne grabbed the coin, the dwarf looking up wondering. "Well you guys can go on to the castle if you want but I must scour the alleys and find some information. Don't get yourselves inprisoned.

The king and queen where haveing a rather boreing chat with the princess and her perky noble friends, Anubis thought to himself. All of a sudden he bolted up in his chair straight u and turned his head to the window. The window looked to the country side with a great view of the Blue Forests of Navarada.

Anubis pulled his hands out of his black velvet robes and leaned on the stone window and stared hard at the four rinders that no one else could see from his vantage point. His dark eyebrows covered his eyes as he frowned at them. "What brings you two little Archons to me . . .?" he wispered faintly. The wind picked up and carried his question toward them.

Anubis watched as three of the riders entered the outer gates of the city and rode straight toward the castle. Anubis was blinded by fury and slowly dug his fingers into the stone wall. Anubis . . . Go away! "Anubis." an old hand held onto his shoulder.

Anubis worled around to see the king standing infront of him. "What is is, my boy?"

"One of my family members are comeing to town," he saw the kings confused look. "I resived a message a month ago--when I had to take over when you where sick."

The kings face lightened in understanding. "I suppose you wish to meet them."

"Thank you, sir." he bowed and hurridly left the throne room. As soon as the large doors closed his face mustanted into fury and hate as he dissappered.
---------------------------

The two riders(one left) slowly trodded toward the castle. They soon got into the large castle's shadow and stoped in awe. A tall man in pure black velvet robes stood in the center of the street and had a lot of space to himself. People walked past the man and gave him looks.

The man's hood covered his face but they did see his eyes. Cold, ice-blue eyes that peirced the soul.

Where is he!?

Dark Wolf narrowed his eyes, I advise you to keep away from him. You have no business with him.
Anubis replied back into Dark Wolf's mind, You have no say in the matter, elf!
Dark Wolf folded his arms, If you lay a hand on Keo's son, I will personally slit your throat, dark Archon.

A young woman with long black hair came up from behind the two men on horse back and called out, "Dark Wolf! Is that you?!"
Dark Wolf turned around and looked down to see the young woman with large violet eyes.
"Lylana?" His voice became full of surprise. "What are you doing here?"
"I was looking for Tolebar. Do you know where he is?"
Dark Wolf gave her a cold stare and Lylana went silent, realizing what Dark Wolf meant.
She slowly turned and then dashed away.

Dark Wolf turned back to Anubis, "You don't have any business with her either. She has nothing to do with your past troubles with the king."

Who said anything about Lylana, Dark Wolf? A large smile spread across his face as Dark Wolf gasped and his eyes narrowed. How dare you- Anubis cu him off, How dare I? HOW DARE I? he repeated. A small child looked up into the sky and pointed. "Look, mommy! It's raining!"

Small raindrops fell from the cloud less sky above everyone.

I promise to you, Dark Wolf, on my honor as an Archon, that she will not die by my hands . . . and who in the hell are you talking about, elf!? I was refering to the King's son!

The hooded head turned and he saw him If he was a snake he would have betten me! he said with amusment. Anubis slowly bowed toward the prince. "Your father has missed you, . . . prince." The crowed of people gasped in astonishment and then people ran through the streets shouting that their long lost prince has returned to them. "A merical!" people shouted. "A sign from the true gods!"

"Your room is still they way you left it last. How many sleepless nights your mother stayed up moarning for your loss when you ran away?" Of course, we both know that that isn't true. Now is it? "Follow me."

He made his way through the crowd toward the front and saw the surprise and anger in Darion's face.
Dark Wolf remained still and made no move to do anything.

Kyan raised his head up to see a tall man in hood and cloak. His eyes grew in astonishment, That must have been the evil one that I had sensed upon coming to Doma!.. What is this anger I sense from him? Did it have to do something with the king of Antaria, this anger?

Kyan walked up to stand beside Dark Wolf's side and whispered toward his ear, "What is going on?"
Dark Wolf suddenly turned toward him and pushed him away, "Get out of here. You must not be here... I fear that this man known as Anubis will seek revenge on Keo by killing you... There was something that happend up there that Keo has not mentioned to me about... I will have to go have a talk with him soon though."

Kyan looked over Dark Wolf's shoulder to look at the hooded man. The man turned his head and his cold eyes met with Kyan's soft-sad looking eyes.

Two guards ran toward anubis who was now shaking violently and sobing fack tears. "What's wrong, lord?" they asked and all Anubis did was point to Dark Wolf. "Did he touch you!?" the other guard demanded. Anubis didn't answer. The two guards stalked over o the elf and throw him off his hoarse and onto the cobble stone ground. "You're under arrest!" one yelled in one of Dark Wolf's sensative ears. "And what we have in the prisons so far, they don't like elves." he said with a laugh as the two hauled him off.

Anubis looked at Kyan and his eyes flashed. You'll be able to get your pet elf back soon, nephew. "My prince," Anubis wispered and out stretched his hand. "I'll take you to your mother. I'm sure you've missed her warmth and love."

Zyne slowly walked the back alleys, looking for some form of thief or crook to direct him. He saw a tavern close by, obviously one owned and operated by a evil group, as he was about to make his way in the relic peace started to glow a dark color. The color seemed to fill the alley with nothingness and it felt cold, the relic point in the opposite diection and was vibrating violently. It did this before at the inn when Kyan was around, does this mean another archon is around? I must hurry back to the others.

Zyne ran through the streets as fast as he could, pushing beggars out of the way and almost tipping a sidewalk merchant's cart. He came up to a large procession of village people who were crowded around Kyan and the others, but there was someone else there, a dark figure and the relic was pointing right at him. "Kyan, are you alright!?" Anubis looked at Zyne and then the relic, a look of puzzlement on his face.

"And a long lost uncle he should remain to be."

The large oak doors that lead to the throne room burst open and Anubis's white fur covered boots treaded softly across the red wool rug. "My Lord, . . ." Anubis wispered as he unsheathed his sword got down in one knee and bowed. "Who are these refians!" The king ordered.

Anubis--still bowing--answered. "Foolish King, is it because of your blind eyes that you sese to see their rightful heir to Doma?" he asked in a mocking tone. The King gasped and shook violently at the site of his step son.

"W-why . . . did you b-bring h-him . . . here!" he wispered. "Because, my Lord, you have reigned in his stead for long enough. It is time for your rest!" Anubis's head quickly shot up. The black velvet hood bounced on his head and slide off. "Y-y-you!? The one who haunts my dreams!" A sick smile quickly spread across his face as he bolted off the floor and marched up the steps of the throne and lifted the old man off his feet.

The king looked at his daughter for help but all she did was smile. "Good by, . . . father." she said in a harsh wisper. "N-no! Darion . . . my son. Help me!"

"After what you have done to the boy you call him 'son'?" Anubis lifted his sword and before Darion could protest the sword shot through the hold man's body. The gold crown fell from hi head and rolled down toward Darion's feet. Was this because of Anubis or was it by force of gravity. Anubis placed his foot on the corpses chest and pushed him off his blade.

"This Kingdom shall fall. And from the ashes shall arise a new order. One that will shape the world forever!"

With Anubis's announcment the teenage princees bounced up and down while she clapped her hands in glee. Darion closed his eyes and a tear fell onto the blood stained crown.

Kyan's eyes narrowed and his expression showed that of dismay. He slowly turned to glare back at Anubis, "You didn't have to kill him!"

"But there was no other choice, nephew." Anubis replied calmly.

Kyan stood up and looked at the princess to see her clapping with glee.
"A daughter who never has cared for her own father and sheds no tear for his death..." He returned his harsh glare to Anubis, his eyes glowing bright red, "This is madness, Anubisian. You turned against your own king who has treated you as a son and this is how you repay him?! You also had the nerve to kill the king in front of his own step son?! Now, the princess is happy about all this?!"

Kyan looked back down at the king again, "Events could have turned out differently than this... You never thought of how Darion really feels do you? He could have settled past troubles with the king to end Darion's darkness!"

Dark Wolf spoke quietly, "Kyan..."
Kyan clenched his mouth shut and he closed his eyes, breathing heavily.
"I'm sorry.. uncle... lately, my anger has been getting the best of me." Kyan walked past Anubis and marched out of the throne room.

Darion stared at Anubis, namesless emotions running wild through his heart. Anger, hope, fear, rightousness, sadness, they all took him in a whirlwind of feelings counteracting each other and throwing Darion's mind into chaos. He glared at the blood smeared across the floor now and struggled to speak, "I never wanted this... despite everything. Nor do I even understand." Anubis grinned sinisterly. Darion fell to his knees in agony, not comprehending this blur of emotions in his heart. "This land will always be a wound in my heart. It makes me bitter. But even so, I find myself troubled to see it threatened with ruin and destruction..." He tried to open his mouth again but could no longer speak. He threw a fist to the ground in rage.

Now, it is time, Darion...

Darion's eyes slowly looked up in agony, hearing the voice of his nightmares once more.

Follow your anger... Let your hatred free you... and soon, you shall let it free me.

Darion's face wrenched, turning red with anger. His dark eyes almost looked as though they were on fire in this fury. He slowly began to feel for his katana, his hand gently grazing the handle.

In that moment, the voice of Darion's hatred suddenly spoke into Anubis' mind, Do not kill him... He still may be useful to me... And useful to you, if a world of darkness and death is your desire... Darion finally found the strength within him to overcome his sorrow. He looked around, and saw no one. The voice in his head still seemed a figment of his imagination. He needed guidance now, more than ever. Every paternal figure in his life had abandoned him through some means or another, but there was one still left. His council had always been the most valuable to him. He was the reason for his existence and skills today. Darion decided to seek him out, to see his old master, Jardur.

He departed from the palace solemnly and began to wander the streets of the terrible city of his past. He wandered almost aimlessly until he came upon a very elegant house with a guard in front. Darion approached the guard and spoke quietly, "I must find Jardur, general of Doma."

The guard looked at Darion with sad eyes, and swallowed hard. He then began to shake his head as his eye began to tear. "Jardur can no longer be found..."

Darion then understood, and a horrible sense of regret and remorse befell him. "I do not understand."

"He died yesterday, in his sleep, he was very old afterall." Darion suddenly fell to his knees, glaring at the city of his misfortune with weeping eyes. He began to cry for he had never been grateful enough to the man to whom he owed everything, nor had he even gotten a chance to say goodbye. The guard then kneeled down beside him and placed a warm hand on his shoulder, "You must be Darion." Darion looked up and did his best to nod. "He knew you would return. Come with me, he had left you something." Darion stood, his grief now overlapping with confusion and wonder, and then he followed the guard down a corridor, not knowing what to expect.

I can't seem to handle seeing death anymore.. after..." Kyan lowered his head and closed his eyes. "It's hard to talk about... so much blood and cries of death... it still rings in my memory."

Darion looked behind Kyan and asked, "Where is Dark Wolf?"
Kyan raised his head back up, but kept his eyes away from looking into Darion's dark eyes, "He is still at the castle.. he's investigating some matters concerning Anubis.. You haven't seen Lylana around?"

"Who's looking for her?" A woman's voice came from behind Darion and Kyan.
Kyan spun around and yelped out, "Whoa! Lylana! I-uh... wh-what are you doing here?" Kyan stuttered.
"I'd like to know the same thing, Tolebar. You ran off from the castle again obviously."
Kyan's face began to turn red and he turned his head to look away.

Darion chuckled lightly as he watched this comical interaction. He needed something to ease the pain. He turned back around and slowly followed the guard's footsteps, still dragging his feet. Then, the guard stopped at a door and turned about. He smiled at Darion, trying to lift his spirits and told him, "Wait right here."

The guard went in and Darion watched with both dread and excitement. He watched the door slowly close behind the guard and then carefully observed as it reopened slowly. Darion almost grew anxious in this short moment, awaiting that which Jardur had left him. The guard came out and held out something in his hand. It was long and wrapped in a cloth, with a note on top of it. Darion took the item in his hand and read the note with grief,

Darion, I'm sorry to have been unable to see you one last time, but I'm sure you have truly proven your worth as a Knight of Doma. Do not hold a grudge against this city, for you shall find a place for it in your heart in time. It is a part of you. Furthermore, I present you with these two blades, the katanas your father used long ago. They are the Masamune and the Murasame, legendary blades of extraodinary power. Use their power for good only, never let the darkness of your heart be their master. And finally, I realize you will be seeking council after such a difficult loss. I suggest you go west into the valley and consult the Oracle of Doma. She will guide you through your troubles. And do not despair Darion, I'm confident you will find your true identity soon enough.

Darion began to weep for grief. The incredible pain of his life that he had just been storing away in the depths of his heart finally broke loose and fell upon him. He fell to his knees in agony and placed his face into his hands, trying to control his tears. Kyan turned and saw the poor man on the ground, lost in his sorrow. Darion raised his head up and hope shown in his tear-filled eyes.
Kyan lowered his head, "But there may be some trouble trying to find his spirit.. He could have already passed on to another life or is somewhere in the spirit world. I really don't know which... I could always take you to the spirit world."

Lylana folded her arms, "Tolebar, you know very well how dangerous it is to go to there."
Kyan looked up at her and back down at Darion, "Does it matter? Just as long as I can help my friend Darion to see Jardur. I won't let anything happen to him."

Anubis quickly turned to face Dark Wolf. The elf didn't see him wurl around or hear the flutter of his robes. One second he was kneeling by the bed the next he was nose to nose with him. Anubis glared into Dark Wolf's eyes in anger. "Of course Alidor was in on it? Who the hell do you think got him to turn on my brother!? Alidor cannot think for himself let alone live without someone reminding him to breathe!

"All the things that Alidor did was what I told him to do! That whole war here twenty years ago. You know who's idea was that? Any guess at all?" before Dark Wolf could answer he was interupted. "ME!!" he screamed in rage. Is Archonic erupted and forced Dark Wolf to slam against the wall. "Know this, elf!" his anger seemed to be squezzing Dark Wolf. "It is not Keo that I hate. Darker than I? The intrusion of Dark Wolf's mind made him stop cold in his tracks. Would you like to know why I am labeled a 'Dark Archon', little elf? The Archons have a little trial of theres. All to there own. My brother got all the High Judges together and tricked me into going to the trail. There the minor judges tackled me and rubed off all the clothing that I had on and forced my wings to protrude from me. They then cast a spell on me. All the High Judges must learn this spell.

An Archons wings are two very fine leaher membranes. The spell they cast was very painfull. They forced feathers to grow on my wings. White wings mean that your heart is pure and you are the purest of anyone. Black wings mean that you have hatred but can be fixed. And Decaying feathers mean that you are the darkest of the dark. You are emediatly exiled from the world.

My wings where the whitest of the white. Everyone was thrilled and suprised. I was the holiest Archon in the world. The look on your face says that you don't believe me. It was a statment of truth rather than a question. Ask Kyan. Better yet, ask Ke. Has he ever lied? Have I? And then Alidor walked into the throne room. The man that ratted me out! As soon as my eyes rolled over his face my wings darkend. Slowly it turned grey and then a dark oily black! The Court gasped in shock and suprise but kne wthat I could be swayed from the course I was traveling. Or could I? For then my wings started to fall. One . . . by . . . one . . . His face was twisted with a grin as he saw the horror on the elf's face.

The smell was horrible. The Court vomited for this stage never happened. They always thought it to be theroretical. Hehehe . . . but they where wrong. 'Leave science to the gnomes,' I always told Keo. The twisted smile slowly faded from a mocking smile to a smile of sweet rememberance.

Dark Wolf slowly turned to look at Anubis, So it was Alidor who has brought this upon you?.. I'm not surprised. He may have had the angelic white wings, but his heart did not reveal any hint of purity. He decieved everyone. Your people weren't stupid, that's why they didn't crown them as king.

Dark Wolf turned his back again to Anubis, The dark one that I speak of was a great evil. That great evil found a way to control Kyan... he could have destroyed everything.. He paused and sighed, I'm saying too much. He then continued to walk down the hall.

-----------------
"Not only can I enter the Spirit World, but also the world of dreams and the past." Kyan spoke to Darion.
"Stop bragging." Lylana mumbled.
Kyan's cheeks lit up and he tried to ignore her, "But this time I won't allow anyone to follow back through the warp hole.."

Darion's face looked pale and lost. He did not make any eye contacts for a long time, and the words that Kyan spoke were silent to Darion, he did not care enough to hear them. He was too deep in his own troubles now. He stood and spoke quietly as if it were not directed to those present, "I must go..."

He turned and walked down the shadowed hall, ignoring Kyan and Lylana completely. Kyan watched him drag his feet down the hall and said in a disturbed tone, "I'm worried about him."

Darion walked endlessly through the city, not knowing at all where he was. Darion walked to the city's limits and sat down by a tree, still lost in his own thoughts, the world around him just an empty, meaningless image. Darion sat back and tried to close his eyes, and cry himself to sleep.

The red sun fell beyond the walls of the dark city, and Darion was soon left under a dark misty sky. Darion fell asleep at last and felt as though all his troubles just drifted away. But then, when he least expected it, the same sinister whisper sounded in his ear, It is now time...You are mine... Darion's eyelids began to twitch in agony as his eyes saw a black shade of a hand slowly reaching toward him. The dark shadows were surrounding Darion in this dream world, and he began to lose himself completely to the control of the villain.

But just then, a white light pierced the dark hand, scattering the shadows. A vaguely familiar man floated before Darion's eyes, cloaked in elegant robes, glowing with the brilliant radiance of the White Dawn. The man said in a commanding voice, Leave him Kinaru! You cannot yake him yet! Darkness can easily be shattered in a pure heart! The black figure whom Darion understood to be Kinaru's telepathic being, dispersed in the crushing white light. The man stood still a moment, and then smiled warmly, Think of me as your guardian. I shall not leave you again... Son. The white light then faded and Darion awoke, glaring into the darkness of night. But this time, as he looked to the landscapes and the dark forests, he felt free. The dark hatred in his heart was diminished for the time-being.

Darion gazed about him and soon smiled at the great land about him. Then, Darion spoke softly as if that guardian of his could still hear him, "Thank you... father." Darion then stood, and was determined to discover his true heritage.

Kyan took a step forward to follow after Darion, but Lylana grabbed onto his arm. She smiled warmly as he looked back at her, "Leave him be. He'll be fine."

Kyan looked down at Lylana's hand that held him by the arm and his face went red. He slowly raised his gaze back up to meet her violet eyes.
"We should spend some time alone together. It has been a very long time." Lylana bent forward and placed a kiss on his lips and turned to walk away.

The sun began to set as Lylana and Kyan both lay on the hillside watching as the sun's light slowly vanished into the darkness.
Lylana sat up, "You should come back home. Our people miss their prince."
Kyan sighed, "I should stay here to look out for Darion.. I'm sure his father would have wanted me to... I've been starting to suspect that Kinaru is trying to find a way to come back... I've been sensing his evil magic around Darion.. something else to seems to be amiss..."

(OOC)Sorry I haven't made a post in a while, I can't exactly get online every day.(OOC)

Zyne had strayed from the group and was sneaking around the castle looking for something that could be sold for a ver high price. Darting into rooms and searching through drawers he could find nothing of value. In the princess' room Zyne was digging through the underwear drawer. Hmm girls always keep things of great value in here right?.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM!?" The princess came running in. Zyne was caught wearing undergarments on his head and his face became the brightest read.

"Aaah. Nothing ma'am, I just got lost, yeah that's it. I had thought this to be a guest room, my apologys!" Zyne was quick to refold all of the items he had messed with, but the princess' anger was relentless.

"GUARDS!!!!!!!!! GUARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The princess' voice was loud and shrill, Zyne had to cover his elven ears, almost becoming deaf.

"No, that won't be neccisary, I am leaving now, good day!"

"Princess what is the matter?" 4 guards came tumbling town the hall.

"Arrest this thief! He is trying to steal my clothing for his own perverted fantasies!"

The guards picked up Zyne and dragged him to the dungeons, on their pass with the dungeon master Zyne easily pickpocketed the keys. Foolish guards. Hahaha.

He was thrown into the cell and locked up, when the guard was back at his post and not paying attention Zyne tried the keys, but to his surprisement they all were so rusty that they crumbled once inserted into the lock. Oh great. Looks like I'll have to take the hard way out. Zyne started powering up to use his shadow walker abilities, but something was wrong, he couldn't tap into the power. What's this? Have I forgotten how to shadow walk? This is not good at all, I must get those pieces back! Zyne sunk back to the corner and thought. Well, atleast Darion is king now, he'll have me out.

Darion walked back to the city, a determined man. He saw the dark city that caused all his pain, but even so, he no longer feared it. For the first time, Darion felt as though he had control. He walked back into the dark city, and now had a sense of purpose.

He returned to find Kyan and Lylana on the steps of Jardur's home. Darion approached them and then stopped in his tracks. He looked them with confident eyes, and they looked back sensing the obvious change that had occurred. Finally, Darion spoke, "We must regroup. There is an oracle in the west who can answer all of our questions." Before the others had a chance to speak, he turned and headed back to the castle to find Dark Wolf and Zyne, and to take care of matters in the city, afterall he now had the title of king around his name. And not even that position, did he not fear.

A tall dark figure came into the dungeon and walked up to where the cell where the recent prisoner was thrown into.
His silver eyes looked down at the floor to see small fragments of rust.
The silver eyes raised to look at Zyne, "I thought that you would have known the difference between good and bad keys, Zyne."
The guard turned to the figure and asked, "What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here without the king's-" The guard was cut off as the dark figure outstretched his arm and poked the guard in the neck with a small dart.

The figure knelt down near the lock and picked at it with strange thievery tools.
The cell door pushed open and the figure stood up.
"You need to work better on your thievery skills."

Zyne made a surprised look.
The figure folded his arms, "I heard the princess yelling from her room.. The least you could have done is jumped out the window instead of letting yourself get captured." Dark Wolf mused.

Besides, I'd love to see you be at the top of your game when you're as old as I and have this damn relic hindering your powers." Zyne walked out of the cell and reclaimed his daggers from the guards motionless body. "I think Darion has to hire some stronger guards tor un this place. Let's get out of here, it stinks." He turned to Zyne and smirked, "I'll let the innocent people out... I think you should take back what you did before a storm of these people come after you."

Dark Wolf opened a few more of the cell doors of the people he knew very well were innocent and had served their term in the dungeon.

When they had passed Zyne was sweating and walked over to Dark Wolf. "You didn't have to do that! What if one of them had killed me!"

Dark Wolf chuckled and said, "They're all innocent and hard working people just happy to leave, I doubt any of them would have done something so drastic, but see that man over in the last cell? He might be a problem if the door might happen to 'fall off.' Hahahahaha!"

Zyne ran out the dungeon as fast as his little elf feet could take him. That Dark Wolf has no respect for his elders!

Darion walked through the halls of the palace, his dark cape flowing behind him as he walked. He recieved attention of all as he passed them, and yet he ignored them. Fame nor importance mattered to him. He proceeded forward to the throneroom and saw several servants on the floor with old rags, now soaked in the king's blood. Anubis stood there, bold and powerful, with a sinister grin on his face. Darion and Anubis made eye contact but both remained silent. Darion did not realize however that Anubis had clear vision into his thoughts. Darion then turned and looked about the room, seeing five guards were present. He lifted his head now, high above the ground, and called out to them in a noble voice, different from how it sounded previously, "Guards, follow my commands, for according to this Anubis, I am your king." The guards then circled around him, dark armor about them, and dark spears in their hands. Darion grinned and returned his focus to Anubis, "Arrest him," he pointed at Anubis, "for murder. And throw an extra ten guards down there. Order will be brought back to this kingdom."

The guards stared at their new king in awe. They were hesitant to move, scared of the power of Anubis. But they soon saw Darion's fierce, penetrating gaze and were overcome. They turned and made their way toward Anubis.

Then, Dark Wolf and Zyne ran in, and Dark Wolf immediately knew what was taking place. He called out to Darion, "Stop, it is far too dangerous." He looked at Anubis, "We must fear and respect his fury. It is madness."

Darion shook his head, and spoke softly, "But it is right..." The guards then began to circle around Anubis, who now had a sinister grin.

Zyne let out a laugh. "Darion you can't really believe your guards can handle him do you? No matter how many you get he will still be stronger! Trust me, I know. These guards aren't anything to shout for." Zyne looked over at Dark Wolf and laughed again.

As Anubis was standing in the room, guards circling around him the relic again glowed. But this time it was different. There wasn't really a light more of a very warm aura and it was pointing at Anubis again. Hm. Anubis must have a piece of the relic, it's the only reason for this to be happening. I will have to speak with him when I get the chance.

Zyne once again laughed, "But what's the point if he'll just kill your guards?"

Darion sighed, "It's making a point. And I think Anubis is clever. He might not let his anger go just yet." Darion turned back to Anubis and saw that his wicked smile had not faded yet. Darion then turned back to Zyne and Dark Wolf, "And even so, we are also three great fighters. No old advisor can pose a match against us and all of the army of Doma."

He looked confident now, but Dark Wolf and Zyne did not share this sentiment. Dark Wolf looked at Anubis and then Darion and sighed, "He is no ordinary old man..."

Lylana took a step forward and proclaimed, "You'd have to bring in the Antarian army to take care of Anubis or someone that would stand a chance against him."
She turned her head to look at Kyan.

Kyan had his head lowered when Dark Wolf and Lylana looked back at him.
Kyan closed his eyes and whispered, "So much evil.. so much blood.. the smell of death.. darkness... I feel dizzy."
Lylana made a puzzled look, "Tolebar, what's wrong?"
"The.. demon.. he's coming back.." Kyan whispered.

"What are you talking about?" Zyne asked.
Dark Wolf simply replied, "Flash backs."
Everyone looked at Dark Wolf. Dark Wolf looked at Darion, "Before your father's time, Kyan was controlled and his powers were used to cause devistation across the world... Many innocent people were killed.."

Darion did not look back at Dark Wolf. He turned to look out the window and gaze out at the night. He sighed heavily, "All the shadows of this world are coming together..." He then turned back not fully understanding his own words, as if they were disconnected from him. He looked back at the circle of guards around Anubis, "Now take him away." Darion turned once more, this time to the corridor, as if he did not want to see the final results of his command.

He began to creep down the hallway like a shadow. Darion had a true destination for the first time, and his purpose now seemed clear. Someone called from behind, "Where are you going?"

Darion did not look back, "To find out who I am."

"But what about ruling the kingdom?" A confused voice of innocence called out.

"It is not the time. How can one be a good ruler if he does not even know who he is?" Darion almost chuckled, but then grew serious once more, "Besides, right now, the state of Doma is the least of this world's concerns..." And with that, Darion was gone, vanished into the darkness of the night.

Zyne watched as the guards escorted Anubis out of the room, Anubis going along quietly, for now. From down the hall he yelled to Anubis, "Hey watch out for the crook down there!" When Anubis was gone Zyne walked back into the throno room, Darion had left and the others were growing restless. "Well I think I'm gonna go out for a stroll, maybe have a drink."

Zyne was walking along when he saw a Elven clothing store, looking at his current dress he decided that he could use an update. Browsing the store he found a great dark blue cloak and a purple headband. He decided to buy them, and changed into these. Heading out onto the street Zyne was surround by thieves.

"Hey here elf boy. Looks like you got some money wearin those kind of clothes around in these parts. Hand it over or pay the price.!"

Zyne mocked, "Haha. Even if I do hand it over, I'm still paying a price!" He lashed out his daggers slitting one of the thieve's throats and jabbing the other in the gut. The third one was trying to backstab him but Zyne got the scumbag in a head lock. "Aww look what happened, you're paying the price now. But I'll let you go if you direct me to the biggest crime boss in town."

The bandit was choking for air managed to gurgle out. "Find Angela, she's the biggest one in town, but you'd be best not to me . . . . kkcch." Zyne had broken his neck before he could finish, but Zyne already knew what it was gonna be.

He headed to the tavern to find out more about this Angela.

Darion mounted his black stallion once more, and rode like the wind to the west, not knowing what to expect. His horse seemed to glide downhill into the great vallies to the west of Doma. Empty fields surrounded him, the dew on the grass shining softly under the moonlight. Darion then spotted a small cabin in the center of it all, and could not possibly understand how so few had come across it. Either way, he rode toward it, and dismounted outside.

Darion slowly pushed open the old front door, that creeked horribly as it slowly swung open. Darion examined the musty cabin he had entered. There was a small bed on one side and a table and a stove on the other. The room felt old, and yet had a very warm air. He then noticed another door at the back of the room. He approached it slowly. He cautiously gripped the gold doorknob and slowly turned it. He then pushed the door open.

Before him was an elegant woman seated comfortably in a chair at an empty room's center. She had her back to Darion. She laughed lightly when he entered and called out to him, "Good, you've finally come."

The elegantly dressed woman stood up slowly. The moonlight coming in through the window was being reflected brillinatly in a white glow. She then turned around and revealed her beauty. She had a look of innocence, and carried a lovely smile. Her figure was magnificent. And around her neck, she wore a brilliant necklace with many white shards of an ancient jewel. Darion was left speechless, "I have been waiting for you Darion, to show you the path to your identity."

Darion found the courage to speak, at last, "I do not understand..."

She chuckled gently and slowly circled around the room to come closer to Darion. She glared into Darion's dark eyes. She then took off her necklace with gentle hands and held it out for Darion. She then spoke once more in a very gentle, warm tone. "Wear this and all your questions will be answered," Darion shook his head in fear, "Very well. But know that it belongs you anyway." Darion looked at the woman with a very confused expression, and so the prophet continued. "It belonged to your father, for it was he who shattered the jewel in its original state. That jewel was the jewel of vision, and it was in this moment that your father became a legend." She smiled at Darion as she watched his expression transform, "Yes, Darion, your identity will now fall into place."

Darion looked at the woman in wonder, and was compelled by her wisdom to take the necklace into his own hands. He held it a moment, watching the white light reflect brilliantly off the jewels. He then put it around his neck and saw everything he needed to know. He saw a blur of images, that made him understand. He saw a man taking his katana and shattering the jewel of vision, sending the evil king Kinaru into the realm of Darkness. He now understood: Illion Terrato was his father.

Anubis sat in the stone bench with his eyes closed. One guard looked at him and poked his friend in the side. "Why is his breathing so shallow? I don't like this." "You don't like anything!" his friend snapped and turned back around to look at one of the female prisoners.

Anubis lifted his head and looked around his cell. "Yes . . . just big enough . . ." He slowly got up and walked into the middle of the cell and turned so that the moon light shined on his pale body. The guards ripped off his clothing and riped his pants down by the knees. He slowly closed hs eyes and gentely swayed back and forth.

"What is he doing" the guard poked his friend again. "He's a Holy Man. He's probably praying to his god!" Then a horrible sound escaped anubis's lips. A sound similar to a dieing child and an insain wolf. Slowly his body began to grow and large decaying wings protruded from his back. The guards and prisoners screamed in terror. Some of the guards ran out of the dungeon screaming and praying while most of them stayed at their post hesitently.

The prisoners banged on the cell doors demanded to be let out and trying not to vomit from he smell of death.

The man slwoly turned around the face the guards. Let me out. The guards screamed in agony as blood slowly ran from their ears. Please, what shall I tell my love if I miss our dinner? The screaming guards screamed in great horror as their eyeballs begane to dissolve and melt in their heads. The screaming and frightened prisons where now exstatic.

Some of the prisoners' hearts gave out from all the screaming and died with the look of ever lasting terror frozen on their faces.
She calls for me, he closed his eyes and small tears flowed from his eyes. She calls me. 'Anubisian,' she cries. And I will hold her and kiss her when I come home to my Misera!

Everyone else that was in the room that had not died burst into a blue-green flame and slowly died in their agony. Anubisian clenched his fist and thrusted his muscular fist toward the wall. A large shock wave erupted and blasted the think stone walls into nothing. He slowly walked out of the burning dungeion and breathed the fresh night air with longing and smiled as his victims' death screame flooded his long pointy ears.

Anubisian lowered his giant muscular body and spread his great dieing wings and lunged into the air. Toward the Oracle.

Darion looked up at the prophet with confused eyes, slowly swelling with tears, "I do not understand..." and Darion quickly threw off the necklace the oracle had given him.

She smiled at him warmly, "twenty-five years ago Illion and the princess of Doma fell in love. They were discovered together, and the prince, in his rage exiled Illion. And shortly afterward, the princess bore his child..." Darion remained silent, tears now falling gloomily from his cheek. "He then spent five years wondering the lands as an assassin. Then on a job in Kelic his life changed. He met the other five Warriors of White Dawn, and discovered the meaning in his life. He then fought to protect the lives of all, and in the end fell defending them. He knew the path that would kill him, and yet he pursued it anyway because he knew it was right. That is courage, lost to the generations of this world."

Darion remained silent staring at the ground, grieving for the great father he never knew. He then stood up despite his agony and questioned the beautiful prophet, "Who are you?"

She laughed and turned around as she told her own story, "I was on the final battlefield of Antaria twenty years ago. I watched as two of my friends gave their lifes. I watched Illion fall as he shattered the jewel of vision to break the will of Kinaru. I watched Astrael seal the realm of darkness." She turned around, her expression now very grave, "I am Misera, the fifth warrior of White Dawn. I picked up the scattered shards of the jewel of vision hoping to find the way to revive the love of my life, but to this day I have not found it."

Darion sat still watching Misera's graceful body flow forward toward him. She encouraged him on once more, "The Warriors of White Dawn faced a madman, obsessed with his own rule and conquest. Now, you face something much worse. You face three villains, each with their own desires who will battle each other till this very world falls."

Darion stood, determination and motivation once again returning to brighten his heart, "What must I do?"

"For now, just accompany me to Doma. Anubisian and I have a history, and I hope to soothe his hatred. But you must keep the necklace of your father, for in the wrong hands, it can make men gods. But, never wear it, for you shall see all the darkness of this world." With that she proceeded past him and walked out the door.

He lowered his voice to a whisper, "I'm so sorry... Forgive me everyone.. Forgive me, Ari.."

Kyan tightly closed his eyes and clenched his teeth.
Lylana watched as his nails grew longer and turned to black, his skin turning into a darker silver, his ears growing longer and slightly curved downward, his eyes grew longer at the corners and his irises became slits like dragon eyes, his muscle mass grew, and his height grew.
Kyan spread out his glowing wide angelic wings and a tail formed, red fire burst to life along his tail.

Kyan reopened his eyes and raised his head up, "I will avenge all those I have unwillingly slaughtered by killing that demon!"

Lylana placed a gentle hand on Kyan's arm and he turned to look down at her, her face was soft looking.
"You're not going anywhere! Sit your butt down and relax! Your powers are still going berserk! Don't you dare start a fight with that demon alone!" Lylana almost yelled.

Darion led his black stallion forward, walking beside Misera through the cold night, both lost in their own thoughts. Finally, Misera broke the silence, "At Doma you'll have to find the new generation of warriors. Kyan will be fighting a brutal battle within the depths of his mind. A battle for control between his noble spirit and a dark demon. Lylana will be at his side always offering her protection. And Dark Wolf will be concerned with Anubisian, on our very path as we speak. And Zyne is looking for criminals, a woman named Angela, but will no doubt come across the bounty hunters who pursue Kyan. You must unite them, and lead the defense of this world." Darion looked at her with grateful eyes, and finally felt as though he had a purpose, but even so, he remained silent.

They continued across the fields under the gentle glow of the moon coming closer to the dark city of Doma. And then, Darion saw a horrid being before him. Zyne had entered the tavern looking around for anyone who might be associated with this Angela. In the corner he saw a large man gambling at a table full of different races, he was no doubt cheating them all. This man would have to know the wherabouts of Angela.

The man, startled looked at Zyne. "An' what would a ole elf like you be wantin' wit'er? Get outta her'!"

Looks like his cheating ways have caught up to him.

"Show yer hand and take the loss elfie." The man said uproarsley laughing without even looking at his hand yet.

Zyne grinned and showed his hand. "Royal flush." The man grabbed his hand up seeing nothing but the worst hand ever.

"Yer good, but ye aint done yet. Best 2 outta 3!" He delt the card again, and again he tried the same tricks. This time Zyne got the bad hand, but replaced with with the cards from before. "Gwahahahaha! Elf yer done for now," the man showed his hand. "4 queen, and a king!"

"Good job. But look at this. 4 ace, and a king. I think that makes me winner. Now tell me where she is, or you'll lose more than your reputation."

"Gah! You cheatin bastard, how could ye 'ave gotten so much! Aaah, she unda town in the sewers, you'll see the aqueduct!"

"Cave? Thanks." Zyne stood up from the tabble and walked to the door, he turned around and looked at the crook. "No! Get'em! That lkkle elfie cannae steal muh gold! Waaaa, waaa!" The man sat on the floor crying.

Anubisian opened his mouth to say something and quickly shut it. He looked at Darion with burning anger. Good night, Darion, King of Doma. Anubisian slowly raised his hand swiftly across his chest. Darion desperatly tried to fight the speel but it was no use. He slowly fell on his knees. He was already out before fell and slept in his own vomite.

"Misera . . ." Anubisians powerfuly deep voice was pleading. Before he could say anymore Mesria walked toward him and hugged him gently. "You missed me," she told him what he was about to say. "Crysania misses you, too, Anubisain."

Anubisian slowly wraped his large muscular arms round he small body and gently embrased her like a father would to an infant. Tears slowly ran down his check. The smell of death slowly faded and his decaying feathers seemed to slowly being filled with life.

"How old is she now?" Anubisain asked hesitantly. "She is twenty-nine years old. And how old are you?" she asked. They always played this game when Anubisian thought they where together. "Several thousand," he said with a forced laugh. Mesira slowly pulled herself away which broke what little of his black heart he had left.

His wings slowly begane to die again as he saw the pain, anger, and confusion in her eyes. "How dare you?" she asked sternly. Anubisian's eyes widened. He felt like nothing. As if an elf was worth more than he. The looked that Mesira gave him peirced his sould with frozen blades that shredded his soul.

For the first time in his ancient life Anubisian was afraid.

Kyan lowered his head and spoke in a studdering voice, "I-I must go he-help Darion... I s-sense that he is in trouble."

Lylana sighed, "Very well. I'm going with you though."

---------------------

Kyan and Lylana flew down where Anubisian stood and ignored the stench of his rotting wings.
Kyan knelt down beside Darion's body and glared up at Anubis, "You didn't kill him did you?"

Kyan felt Darion's body and heard him softly breathing and his heart beating.
He picked Darion's body up and turned to Anubisian and Misera.
He smiled at Misera, "Misera, it has been a long time. I presume Crysania has been doing well. I apologize for my long absence from Antaria... some distant world issues.."

Misera smiled warmly, "That's understandable, considering the king wants the best for his son."
Kyan blushed and lowered his head, "He wanted the best for his people..."

Misera made a puzzled look.
Kyan raised his head up, "My father was acting strangely before I left.. Could have been her..."

Darion looked onto an empty world shrouded in fog. It was the dream world, the depths of his mind, and he would never be free of it. The fog began to part and a great white light shined in the distance, and it grew as it drew nearer to Darion. Then, just as the figure reached Darion, the white glow about him dispersed and left an average man standing before Darion. His weathered face had a smile. It was Illion.

Why father do you only come to me now? I needed to know who you were for so long.

Illion smiled at his son, an adult man whom he never had truly known, You never needed my protection from the darkness until now.

What is this darkness you and the others speak of? I feel it hovering over me always, but I never can see it, except for in my nightmares.

The darkness that has tried to take you is Kinaru. He is longing for a return to this world, but cannot find it. He sees your power together with your hatred and thinks he could turn you to the shadows. But I will not let him, for in death, I am invincible. Life is truly wasted on the living. Darion chuckled and then looked at Illion with gentle eyes, not the dark glare that he often gives. Illion continued Awake now in my presence, Anubisian will not kill you. I promise. Protect the world from the realm of darkness, Darion. Illion then faded once more into the bright white glow that engulfed him, and the dreamy mist scattered.

Darion opened his eyes in reality now, and felt himself being carried in Kyan's arms. He swiftly leaped off, his body feeling fresh and restored once more. He smiled at Kyan and spoke deeply, "I'm fine."

"So demon, I hear you're the criminal leader in this town. Haha not much to look at, a bat girl with a sewer full of rat men." Zyne stepped over the rats approaching Angela, the smell worsening as he approached the makeshift throne.

The succubus hissed, "What does an elf have to do with me! Be gone or be food!" She stood up, towering over the occupants of the room.

"Now, now hold your tongue." Zyne pulled out his relic, "I am looking for more items like this, they are very important to me, I am a thief like yourself and wish to find help with you. Do you know anything about them?"

"Ahahahah!" she screeched, "I just sold all I had to a group of wandering bounty hunters, you're too late little elf. But now that you're hear there's no going back. We don't accept new comers." She motioned to the rats and all of the swarm attacked fangs, knives, tail spikes and anything in reach. Zyne concentrated and hoped his move would work. He attempted to copy himself and make doubles, but he could only manage 2 whole doubles and a leg of a third.

"Ah this is great, hundred rats and 3.1 of me. I'll have to work with what I have." The rats squng at the doubles but their attacks went straight through and hit the rats on the other side, this gave Zyne an idea. If I can get out of the way they'll just keep attacking themselves. Zyne jumped onto the ceiling and hung on a pipe his idea worked and before long it was an all out brawl between the swarm of rats.

Angela stared with a furious look on her face. The rats are stupid! Why couldn't I have picked a better group to deal with!Inhaling and exhaling hard she spread a poisonous mist that killed off the remaining vermin. "Why don't you come down elf and fight me one on one, those rats are no comparison to me! hahahaha!"

Zyne jumped behind for a sneak attack but was blocked, he tried a knife throw but missed. She is strong, if only I was full power . . .

Darion rose, and gazed through the darkness at the creature that had just paralyzed him. Darion no longer feared Anubisian, nor did his decay affect the young knight of Doma. Illion was always guarding him and this knowledge gave him strength and courage. He stepped forward and adressed the dark archon, his hand gently grazing the hilt to the Murasame, the sword of power, "Anubisian, you must pay for your crimes. I do not fear you, nor do I fear death."

Misera stepped forward then and gently touched him on the arm to soothe him. She stared at Darion with an elegant grace and spoke softly to him, "Do not temp death, Darion. Confront it only when the end result will be worth it. And this is not bravery, it is foolishness. You may be bold against an opponent, but your greatest fear has not faded, you still fear your destiny." She smiled and then turned back to Anubisian, "Go now, Darion. I sense a great darkness stirring. Go to Doma, help Zyne who may need your assistance. And then guard this world from the Realm of Darkness." She then approached Anubisian and looked at him with soft, caring eyes. "There is still good in your heart, I can sense it, and I will bring it out."

Thunder suddenly pierced the black sky, and a voice echoed as though from the dark clouds above, but really it spoke into each of their minds, "No, Misera you will not. You will finally fall, and the hatred and destruction of the black archon will be mine.." Darion recognized the voice immediately; it was Kinaru. "And the soul of another archon of my past will also come to darkness..."

Lightning flashed and a dark mist surrounded Kyan, and his knees buckled. He threw his hands around his head and gasped in pain. Another voice now spoke in his mind, that of a demon, "You are mine, Kyan. Now unleash destruction... the woman first." Anubisian's eyes grew mad with rage.

Darion turned to Misera in panic, "What does it mean??"

She sighed heavily but answered at last, "The terrors of this world have come together... The White Dawn has faded..."

Kyan opened his eyes and looked at Misera and glare at her in blind fury. Kyan didn't recognize Mesria. He didn't recognize Darion. He didn't want to recognize Anubisian. Kyan slowly unsheathed his blade and walked toward Mesira.

Mesira stood proud next to Anubisian. Excepting her fate. Anubisian's large hand gently pushed her toward Drion. "Ride to Doma." Anubisian yelled at Darion. Darion looked at him hesitantly. "NOW!" Anubisian screamed in pure hate filled fury. Darion closed his eyes and before he knew it he was standing within the halls of Doma Castle with Mesira in his arms.

"I will kill you Anubisian!" Kinaru's voice echoed out between Kyan lips. You cannot kill me. Our brother's and sisters have tried and failed by my hands. he wispered through a sick grin.

Kyan (Kinaru) stoped advancing and slamed his hands on his head and screamed in pain. You are a weak fool! Anubisian blaired out. Kinaru screamed in agony as Anubisian stalked toward him. "Stop it!" he cried. How . . . DARE you . . . the force of Anubisian's psionic scream forced Kinaru to fall onto his back.

"Anubisian!" Kinaru laughed a forced laugh filled with pain. "You can kill these shell but you won't kill me!" No, Anubisian stoped and folded his large arms across his giant chest. no, you are right, Kinaru, I wouldn't want to do that. Kill my nephew that is. But my nephew has no problam killing you.

He sniffed the air three times and smiled. he shifted his wings to see why Death wasn't in his nose. Platnume wings . . . I don't diserve these at all . . .

Another voice rose from Kyan's lips, a much deeper and darker voice, that sounded as if death itself was present, "Foolish Anubis... You may be able to affect Kinaru and your own nephew with your death stench, but I am unaffected."

Kyan's body slowly rose from the ground and his eyes blazed with firely red. A small grin came across the silver lips.
"This body is still young and weak, but able to cause destruction across galaxies!.. That is why I will leave the prince to you, Anubis, to show you his true powers and have him kill another one of his family memebers!" The dark voice slowly vanished.

Kyan's dark blue hair slowly turned to blackness, with streaks of violet blood. His irises turned to hollow blackness and his pupils turned to blood red. His skin darkened to a bullet silver. The Garservisus sword in Kyan's hand slowly changed from the elegant glowing blue to a hue of red while the blade itself turned into a murky black.
Kyan's silver Archon armor turned to pure blackness with trims of red arcane symbols.

He walked toward Anubis with his dark eyebrows narrowed. His face was emotionless and his eyes had no resemblence to Kyan's once soft-sad looking green eyes.

Anubisian's eyes narrowed in blided rage. He thrusted his hand toward Kyan and grabed hold of the dark armor by the colar. Anubisian's grip dented and bent the colar as he lifted the shell of his nephew off the ground. Listen to me, Kinary, Kyan, and whoever the hell else is in there! You WILL not stop my plans. You CANNOT! But I, Anubisian, High Preist of the Holy Temple of the Gods and Prince of the Violet Moon, can stop your plans!

Anubisian flung Kyan's body toward his right side and watched Kyan creat a small crater in the earth. I know you refuse to listen to be Kyan but heed my advice! Force these demons out of you! How i'd love to protect you from them but I can't unless you dislodge them from your body and away from your soul. You have the power to do this. Do this not for me. Not your Keo! Not even yourself. Do this for that woman that you love.

Kyan slowly got to his feet and a wicked smile spread his across his lips. "Don't make me laugh! I have total control over that soul. He may try as he might to fight against me, but he will not prevail, not this time. I have secluded him a complete world of darkness where he cannot see what his own body is doing against the people that will be killed by my hand... I am him and he is me. Nothing will break that bond now!"

The dent in Kyan's armor quickly reformed into its former shape. Kyan ran forward with the black sword stretched out to his side.
He ran swiftly and seemingly flashed like a bolt of lightning as he darted around, keeping Anubisian distracted and from keeping track of where Kyan went to next.

A sword swung up from behind Anubisian and came down with a swift sweep to cut deep into Anubisian's shoulder.

Kyan flew backward to avoid a counter attack. He looked down at the dark violet blood that slithered down the blade and toward the hilt of his sword.
He raised his gaze back up to Anubisian and again smiled wickedly, "I can't wait to see your blood smeared across the ground and on my boots just as Ari's blood had when I killed him those many years ago." His smile grew softened, "Then I will kill my own father and anyone that would stray into my path to stop me."

"Don't play stupid, Anubisian. I do mean Keo! He is my father as well as Kyan's, we are after all the one in the same. I am only the dark side of Kyan's consciousness that was brought forth by Reas' magic... I bet you never knew that Kyan had a dark side, now did you?"

Kyan smiled slyly and narrowed his eyebrows. "You give me such an open attack, Anubisian. I don't know whether to thank you or just kill you this instant... or maybe I shall kill all the innocent people in Doma just to piss you off."

Kyan's once gracious wings of silver, now turned to shimmering blackness tipped with dripping blood, spread out wide, seemingly almost engulfing the sky.
He seemed to float up without beating his wings and too
