Well, it's like a Jewish-Japanese anime.

Anime usually has Japanese writers and a Japanese production crew, but the Animatrix was created by some Jewish brothers. So can it truly be anime?

well the term "anime" has been stretched alot lately, so i dont think the nationality or race of the anime artist, author, or creator realli makes a diffence weither if it is anime or not.
