what anime series are you watching? [Archive]

right now I am watching the following series and the volume I am in so far:

1. Raxephon vol 4
2. X vol 6
3. Scryed vol 1
4. Hellsing complete box set

Do any of you have any interest in any of these as well, I am defiently going to buy the remaining volumes for these series, I am hooked. I am thinking of buying Heat Guy J because of the good reveiws it has been getting, but I am not sure, any of you guys watch it yet? play magazine said it was cooler than Cowboy Beebop, and that's not really easy to do.

I havent been watching any anime series since the beginning of June.. the last I watched was Berserk vol. 6.. and the whole berserk series at once.

I don't mean to deviate from the original topic but, is there going to be a vol 7 of berserk? if not this series was a waste of my money, and someone will die for me actually watching the most retarded ending........or should I say lack of an ending to what was what I thought a good series.

There wont be a vol. 7 of berserk that I know of.. but the series itself only covered vol. 1-20 (i think its 20) of the manga, which is currently 26 volumes and growing. I've heard possibilities of doing a second series.. or continuing.. *shrug*

watched the two first volumes of oh! my goddes
bought vampyre hunter D, didn't like it, sold it
bought kenshin reflection of the ova series
dbz (currently coming on tv)

I'm up to vol. 8 on Kenshin. Now I'm just waiting for vol. 9 to be available in the dvd store

1.) Everyone initially compares this with Evangelion, because of the multiple base similarities. I enjoyed it, but the ending left something to be desired.

2.) Good series, if you accept the fact that - as they say over and over again - you cannot change Fate/Destiny (well, sort of anyway)

3.) Excellent series, honestly. I really hope they continue with it, you'll have to wait towards the end to see Kazuma in his Moomba suit though (and no, I am not joking)

4.) ::drool::

Right now I'm watching Wolf's Rain, DNAngel, Last Exile, Mirage of Blaze, Scrapped Princess, and dabbling with the idea of watching some Divergence Eve.

DE might interest you, if only in the fact that the girls have some of the biggest tits I've ever seen.

Well... I'm in the middle of Trigun, I just need to beg my family to send me my Trigun DVDs so I can finish the series =p
I also wanna watch Fushigii Yuugi (spelling?)
heh - and last night I watched Pirates of the Carribean which was somewhat like a really bizarre mix of the Monkey Island games and Princess Mononoke if that counts o_O

Fushigi Yuugi is a really good love story, honestly. It has tacky transparent plots, but by the middle of the 3rd OVA (after having watched the series I was all like "Who do YOU think YOU ARE!? Messing with Tamahome & Miaka's love!? Don't you know what they went through!? DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT HELL THEY WALKED THROUGH TO GET HERE????"

So yeah, it's good.

RahXephon only has base plot-lines that make it similar to Evangelion, the mood of the anime makes it entirely different. You'll only do serious comparisons for like, the first three episodes.

I finally finished watching Fushigi Yugi =P The Crusader is trying to get me into Utena.

I'm rewatching Scryed now since its coming out all on DVDs, seen the first DVD - I love how the same actor who did Albedo's voice in Xenosaga does Cougar XD

UPDATE: I finally saw Escaflowne! Thank you, Crusader-darling!

I've just finished watching Revolutionary Girl Utena it's awsome a real must see. I'm also watching vandread but I've only got eps 1-13 love what i've seen so far. Also on the list is Maze that's O.K. and I'm slowly working my way through the R.K. DVD's I've watched up to Vol 13 really good legends of Kyoto is the better season and I've still to watch DNA^2, outlaw star and Monokie Hime

You poor thing you need some better shows to watch get Evangelion and things like that there more interesting and have a more developed story and characters. Plus Dragon ball gets really boaring and repitive

I want to watch RaXephon, but I can't seem to find it when I have the cash. When I actually can, between work and school, I watch YuYu Hakusho, Cyborg009(no shooting!), Kikaider, before they stopped airing it, Trigun, InuYasha, and Shaman King. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I also watch Medabots and Digimon.

Right now I'm doing the manga thing. I've got Dragon Knights 1 and 2, Demon Diaries 1 and 2, Rebirth 1 and 2, Dragon Hunter 1, borrowing 2, borrowing Ragnarock, but I've only read the first, and also Scryed 1. I own all but the Ragnarock and Dragon Hunter 2. Pretty good collection, cosidering my crappy paycheck and that I only started buying them six months ago.

is samurai x worth watching? one thing i knoe for sure is that the comic Rouruni Kenshin (the jap name for samurai x) really rocks, but i'm not sure abt the anime. has anyone watched it?
