Since I know we will probably never get the remake we've all wanted for years based on this footage How about you throw us one small bone Square and give us a Final Fantasy VII - Lite. Rip out all the existing music and replace it with orchestrated versions. I think that alone would be enough for me to purchase it again at a higher price point than what it is being sold for on the PSN.
I just got home from work, and had my Final Fantasy XIII preorder waiting on me from Amazon. My first impression is simply how beautiful the game is. The cinematics are stunning. Square always puts out quality graphics, but they've outdone themselves this time. It reminds me of the Final Fantasy VII AC/FF7 PS3 Demo level graphics, but with more vivid colors.
