This game withstands the test of time fairly well. Not even the newest X360 RPG can match the strange and uniquely innovative combat system that this game introduced. There isn't much to the mechanics and design, but it fluidly blends with every other part of the game, making it exciting and easy. I just got home from work, and had my Final Fantasy XIII preorder waiting on me from Amazon.


My first impression is simply how beautiful the game is. The cinematics are stunning. Square always puts out quality graphics, but they've outdone themselves this time. It reminds me of the Final Fantasy VII AC/FF7 PS3 Demo level graphics, but with more vivid colors.
